Fussen, Bavaria

Belle and I spent the day walking all around the town!  Such a beautiful place surrounded by the Alps!  People are very friendly!  Their tourist season is upon them,  all shops and hotels are getting ready, so we came at the right time.  We are staying in a tower room and it is so cool!  Wish I could post, but can't, so will post on Facebook unless my son Matthew comes through with what I need to do!  Tomorrow is our visit to a castle, can't wait!  We went through a beautiful church today getting ready to post photos!  Later guys.......

Traveling Jeannie: A First Class Experience: One more day.........Belle and I are off to Easter...

Nurnberg, Germany is a beautiful city with interesting sites for sure.  When we arrived we had to look at a couple of hotels and we chose the Grand Hotel that was built in 1876.  It is so beautiful.  After checking in we walked around the town and just looked at everything and we certainly took in the beauty of the buildings.  We had a late dinner and then to bed.  Today we decided to go to the Nazi Rally Party Grounds.  I can't tell you all the feelings you have going through this complex and what a monster Hitler was....will show photos later.  

Tomorrow we leave for Stuttgurt to meet up with a Facebbok friend of mine, can't wait to meet up with you Kelly!  I'm sure we ill have a few adventures on the way!  We did  ride the tram today, almost missed our stop, we had a few laughs.

Am headed to bed, long day.  Hope I can start posting photos soon.

So....Belle goes to the bank to get our money exchanged and guess what???????  Today is a holiday, "Ascension Thursday", everything is closed!  This is how things have been going for the last two days!  Also, Belle couldn't see her phone guy!!!!!

I am sitting here in the hotel lobby trying to find us an apartment here in Heidelberg, Germany.  We have 97 things going on at one time!  We are having trouble with our phones, trying to figure it all out.  Belle has just left to return to the phone store!  I just can't be bothered!

Our plane ride over the pond was great, food was wonderful, Belle will tell you otherwise!  People have been so helpful.

I will say picking up the car was an experience in itself!  I did the driving and Belle did the screaming!!  What can I say, the "autoban" is something else, its been a long time since I have driven over 100 mph!  I loved it!!  There is a circle here in Heidelberg that you drive around, ask me how many times I went around that stupid circle!  If I have to go near it today I will shoot someone for sure!

We had a nice dinner last night at a outside cafe, both of us were exhausted and I couldn't wait to go to bed.  Here in Heidelberg, a college town, so lots of bikes!  You just stay out of the way, I was walking in the wrong lane....omg....lesson learned....walk in right lane Jeannie Weber!

Day 2 and 3

Yesterday was a very long day.  Finally caught up with Belle!  Must say terminal 2 is quite the terminal.  Just tell me please how two intelligent women can get lost?  We had a bite to eat at the Delta Crown Sky Club and leave to go to our gate, yes, we, follow each other walking in the wrong direction!  Finally I asked a tram driver to take us to gate 22!  We would not have missed the flight but the walk would have taken us forever .

I can't post photos still trying to figure it out!  Hold tight.......

Thought I would give this another try before finishing up with my packing before leaving early in the morning.  

Have talked to Belle tonight and she will meet me in the afternoon for dinner before we cross the pond.  I will be at the airport for hours, but hey, all kinds of things can happen!

I will try to post photos tonight, but then again I might have to wait until tomorrow.  I hope that all of you can comment.  I think you have to sign up with google, not sure will check with my son Matthew.

I'm feeling somewhat under the weather tonight, my visit to doctor was not what I expected, so I will enjoy this trip and I look forward to a great vacation with Belle!  Don't worry Marcia I will stay right on top of things, I promise!
